Interested players can pre-register themselves for the game before the launch to receive some awards.
Apex Legends, one of the most popular battle royal shooting titles, has been a mobile version on cards for quite some time. Electronic Arts and Response Entertainment announced its first-ever game on mobile devices in 2019. Now, we finally have the launch date for the same - May 17, 2022.
The game will roll out on May 17 this year on Android and iOS mobile platforms and will then be available for download for all users. The game has been in beta for some time and beta testers have reportedly said that the Apex Legends mobile experience is close to PCs and consoles.
In the previously released trailer, Apex Legends Mobile showed how the game was optimized for mobile devices, with features such as touch-based control. Check it out below.
The game will be free to play like the original game, but unlike the PC and console versions, which are currently running on season 13, the mobile version will launch its season system starting next week from season 1. Apart from this, the mobile version of the game will also have several new features including new game mode and social tie-ins.
Apex Legends Mobile is also giving pre-registration awards to players who register themselves before the launch. Interestingly, these awards will depend on how many people are already registered for the sport. Users can pre-register on Android by going to the Play Store and searching for Apex Legends and pressing the Register button on the app page.
