Garena Freefire and 53 Chinese other apps banned in India : big updates

Garena Freefire, the most popular International battle royal games, has been banned in India for national security purpose. The apps, along with 53 chinese applications, was banned by the indian Government earlier today amid political tension with China. This is fifth major crackdown on Chinese applications since November 2020, 


when the government blocked 43 applications over the some national security reasons. It has vanished from google play store and apple store, this time neither Garena International, the polular game's distributor, nor apple or google have remarked absence.


This game is presently unavailable for download on either moblie store,and it does not appear in search results when the name is typed in, those who have previously downloaded freefire have been able to play it but with limited success. Player have been experienced difficulty login into the game for previous 24 hours, claimed that technical issues prevented them.

Including Kids favorite apps- 

Today's children are very much addicted to mobile. Children have got used to playing games like Freefire, PubG. In such a situation , if  these games banned, then there will be a lot of  impact on the daily routine of the children. Freefire has been missing from the google play store and apple app store for the past two days. It is being  speculated that due to being in the banned ace list, he has been removed.


Still more than 300 Chinese apps have been banned-

The India Government has earlier banned Chinese apps on 29 June 2020, On 29 june 2020 India doing first digital strike banned 59 Apps. After which 47 apps were banned on 27 July 2020, 118 on 2 December 2020 and 43 on november 2020. And now 14 February 2022 under section 69A of the Technology Act, the Ministry of Information Technology has banned these apps.

Arround that time India has blocked 3 hundreds plus of Chinese applications including Tiktok, Weibo, Wechat,


Why freefire banned in India?

There is no explanation as to why Freefire removed from the app store but expect Garena to provide more information soon. Fans can keep up with the latest developments by following the brand on social media. In the meantime, gamers should refrain from replying on any on going story and refrain from disseminating such information. Rumors have also cropped up due to the login problems.

These apps leaking data of Indian Users-

The Ministry of IT & Electronics has banned these apps. In reports these apps were send data of Indian users in China and othrs countries. and these apps were leaking data on foreign servers. Google paly store has been ordered to ban these apps.
