Jhunjhunwala started trying his hand at the stock market when he was in college. But Jhunjhunwala was a risk taker right from the beginning. He borrowed money from his brother's clients with a promise to return it with higher returns than a bank fixed deposit.
After his father discussed the stock market with his friends, Jhunjhunwala became interested in it. Jhunjhunwala quoted his father as saying that he should read the newspapers regularly as it was the news that caused the volatility in the stock market. According to reports, her father allowed her to work in the stock market, but she refused to provide financial assistance and refused to ask for money from friends.
