Chinese smartphone maker Redmi Note 4 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 12,999. The company has been launching laptops in various markets since 2016. However, the Book S 12.4 which has become official today is the first 2-in-1 laptop from the company. It is a portable device with thin and light build.
Window & Battery Life -
The company is also introducing a keyboard for optional accessories such as the Mi Smart Pen and the Mi Book S 12.4. Since it is a tablet-laptop hybrid device, it is equipped with a touchscreen display. It is powered by a Snapdragon processor and promises 13+ hours of battery life. The device runs Windows 11 OS and supports 65W fast charging.
Processor & RAM -
The 12.4-inch screen is the same as the 12.4-inch screen. It offers a quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, 16:10 aspect ratio, 500 nights of brightness and 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD internal storage. The device has a 38.08Wh battery, which can be charged using a bundled 65W GAN charger.
On the camera front, the Book S 12.4 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The device comes preloaded with an ARM-based version of Windows 11 OS. It comes with dual stereo speakers, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 among others.
Xioami Book S 12.4 price and availability in India:
Rs 12,999 for the 4GB RAM variant. The smartphone is priced at Rs 12,999 in India. It will be available for purchase from today (June 21, 2022). Customers who want to buy it with an optional keyboard cover can get it for Rs. EUR799 (~67,900). Customers ordering Book S 12.4 between June 21 and June 30 will get a free pair of Redmi Buds 3 Pro TWS earbuds. It is not clear if the company has any plans to launch it in India.
